The New TFO BVK rods are fast action rods designed to excel in Presentation and Distance. The rich
translucent olive blanks are topped with matching braided carbon fiber reel seats, REC recoil stripping
guides, ultra lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless snake guides and flor grade grips that are
comfortably contoured and uniquely contrasted. Available in 3 - 10 weight.
Appearance - The first thing we do when we get a new rod in is to check for any flaws in the finish, cork,
etc. The TFO rods are always flawless in this respect and the BVK is no exception
Performance - Like all TFO rods, the BVK does a great job of communicating with the caster. You know
the precise time to make the forward cast. The first thing you will notice is how light this rod feels in the
hand. it feels perfectly balanced and very comfortable. Even though it's a light, fast rod you can feel the
loading on long and short casts. The rods also work perfectly with the recommended line weights. you
couldn't ask for more accuracy from a rod. Deadly accurate to 80ft and there always seems to be more
reserve power. Both mediocre and good casters will be able to throw tight loops. You will find presentation
to be very nice!
There are no surprises here. The rod is just what you would expect from two great casters like Lefty Kreh
