Steelhead Pictures
1/1/12 - It's too early to tell whether or not this will be a better
than average steelhead season, but the weather has
co-operated for the most part. Rainfall has kept the streams at
good flows most of the time. However, we are still waiting for
some major snowfall that will keep the streams at good flows and
color with snow melt. Snowfall is way below average for
December. Poaching is another problem. So far, it doesn't
appear to be a better than average season. At the present time,
you rarely see a pod of fish, just a few here and there.
